Coverlipse is an eclipse plugin for Eclipse 3.x. It has been tested on Linux and Win32 machines. If you run across problems, check out the Howto and the FAQ. Most likely, your question will be answered there. If not, please take part in the discussions on the sourceforge page or report a bug.

Installation instructions

  • Download coverlipse-0.9.3.zip from the Sourceforge download area.
  • Close all open Eclipse windows.
  • If you have an earlier version of Coverlipse installed, remove them as explained below.
  • Unzip the zip file to your Eclipse 3.x installation directory or an appropriate extension location.
  • Start Eclipse.
  • Verify that the plugin has been detected: Help -> About eclipse platform, then Plugin details. Among your other plugins, there should be a plugin called "Coverlipse" in the list.
Check out the HOWTO for a short introduction to Coverlipse. If you experience problems (especially with Eclipse 3.0), check the FAQ.

Removing Coverlipse

To remove Coverlipse, just delete the directories $ECLIPSE3/plugins/de.uka.ipd.coverage (and $ECLIPSE3/plugins/de.uka.ipd.coverage.nls, if available) when Eclipse is not running. $ECLIPSE3 is meant to be your Eclipse 3.x installation directory.
